Prayer: For Doing Hard Thins
Dear Ones,
Help me remember:
It often isn’t easy
It isn’t convenient or habitual
It may be lonely
It may be ineffective
I do not know how it will turn out
I do not know if others will care that I do it,
or like me for doing it.
Help me remember:
that I do it because I must,
that I cannot expect someone else to do it for me,
that in the doing of it I make my self
human anew,
that in the doing of it, my heart is made visible.
