Welcome to my fan site dedicated to Steven Universe Future, a mini-series sequel to Steven Universe, which ran on Cartoon Network from December 2019 to March 2020.
I’m creating this site because Steven Universe Future is a really smart, heartfelt, well-done show. Because of its realistic portrayal of the after-effects of trauma and social inequality, it’s not an easy show to watch sometimes. This site is an attempt to recognize what the show accomplished and make an argument for why it's so good, even if it's not as light-hearted as the original series.
On this site you will find analysis and mini-essays I've written about the episodes and related themes, as well as other resources. There are so many good moments that I want to draw attention to and so many themes that I think are more broadly applicable to life. Most of the content on this site is my writing with occasional links to other content.
