Meal Prayer
With humility and gratitude
we receive the food set before us.
We accept this gift and bless
the hands that prepared it,
the animals, vegetables, and minerals that compose it,
the labor and suffering that brought it to us,
the Earth, Sky, and Sun that give us all life,
and the people gathered here to eat.
