We open our lips.
Our breath threads the needle of the day.
This morning while the Earth is quiet
we give thanks for life.
May this day be a new opportunity
for health and abundance,
for cultivating wisdom and fostering justice.
May we be gentle and kind, fierce and strong as the day requires.
We pray for everyone facing difficulties and harm today.
We pray for everyone who will not live to see sunset.
May we seek understanding and forgiveness.
May we help one another this day.
